Movie & Gin at the Ivanhoe House for Boardgrove Architects

A 2 room project celebrating colour and contrast. Within the individual spaces a datum was created to define the old and the new, this concept then travels from room to room as the colours drastically meet.

Each space was defined by its function; the Movie Room has the embrace of a heavy blanket like curtain and the glow of a screen; the Gin Room amplified the play of light on cut glass.
